Set up call transferring for your AI Concierge
Configure your AI Concierge to transfer calls to a human staff member when the caller requests it or when the AI cannot handle the request.
How call transferring works
- Call transferring allows your AI Concierge to hand off a live call to a human team member when the caller requests to speak to a person, or when the AI cannot resolve the request. The AI will introduce the transfer before connecting the caller.
Configure transfer settings
- From Settings > AI Concierge, go to the Call transferring tab.
- Toggle on Enable call transfer.
- Add the transfer phone number(s) — the number(s) where calls should be routed.
- You can add multiple numbers and set a priority order so calls try each number in sequence.
- Set the transfer trigger:
- Click Save.
If no transfer number answers, the AI will take a message and notify you of the missed transfer.
Test call transferring
- Call your business number and ask to speak to a team member.
- Confirm the AI announces the transfer and connects the call to your specified number.
- Review the call log to verify the transfer was recorded correctly.
