Set up commissions for team members

Motivate your team by setting up customized commissions for services, products, gift cards, and memberships they sell.

How commissions work

  1. Commission rates are set per team member and per sale type (services, products, gift cards, memberships). They are automatically calculated whenever a sale is checked out.
  2. Commission earnings accumulate and are included in the team member's pay run at the end of each pay period.

Set up commissions for a team member

  1. From the main menu on the left of your screen, go to Team.
  2. Select Team members from the left menu panel.
  3. Click on the team member to open their profile.
  4. Click Actions and select Edit.
  5. Select Commissions from the left menu panel.
  6. Set commission rates for Services, Products, Gift cards, and Memberships as needed.
  7. Click Save to apply the commission rates.
You can set different commission rates for individual services or use a blanket rate for all services.

Set default commission rates

  1. Default commission rates apply to all new team members added to your workspace.
  2. Go to Settings and select the Team category.
  3. Select Commission defaults and set the default rates for each sale type.
  4. Click Save to apply. New team members will automatically inherit these rates.
