Unpaid and part-paid sales
Learn how to record sales without full payment and complete them later.
How unpaid and part-paid sales work
- Unpaid sales are saved without any payment, allowing you to collect the balance later.
- Part-paid sales record a partial payment, with the remaining balance due at a later time.
- Both types appear in your Sales list with their payment status clearly marked.
Raise an unpaid sale
- In the right panel of the appointment view, click on the Checkout button at the bottom.
- Click on the Save unpaid button at the bottom of the right panel to save the sale without taking payment.
Raise a part-paid sale
- In the right panel of the appointment view, click on the Checkout button at the bottom.
- In the left panel under Payment methods, select Split payment.
- In the pop-up, select a payment method, enter the amount, and click Add payment.
- Select the Save part-paid button at the bottom of the right panel.
- Click Continue in the pop-up to record the payment and save the sale as part-paid.
