Set up appointment SMS notifications
Send automated SMS reminders and confirmations to reduce no-shows and keep clients informed about their upcoming appointments.
How SMS notifications work
- SMS notifications are text messages sent to clients at key appointment moments — confirmation, reminder, cancellation, and follow-up. SMS messages are concise and have a high open rate, making them effective for reducing no-shows.
Enable SMS notifications
- From the main menu, go to Settings.
- Select Notifications, then click SMS notifications.
- Toggle on the SMS notification types you want to activate.
- Ensure your business has an SMS credits balance. SMS messages use credits from your BeYou365 account.
- Click Save.
SMS notifications require credits. You can purchase additional SMS credits from your account settings.
Configure SMS settings
- Set the reminder timing — how far in advance clients should receive their reminder SMS.
- Review the default SMS template. Keep messages short and include key details: client name, service, date, and time.
- Optionally enable a Reply stop option so clients can opt out of future SMS messages.
- Click Save to apply.
