Set up and manage taxes

Learn how to set up tax defaults so BeYou365 can automatically calculate tax for each sale.

About taxes

  1. Tax rates are applied automatically at checkout based on your default settings.
  2. You can create individual tax rates or group multiple taxes together.
  3. Tax settings can be customised per service if needed.

Add a new tax rate

  1. From the main menu on the left of your screen, go to Settings.
  2. Click on the Sales category to manage your taxes.
  3. In the left menu, select Tax rates to set defaults.
  4. Click on the Add button and select New tax.
  5. In the tax view, enter the Tax name and Percentage rate.
  6. Click on the Add button in the top right to save the new tax.

Edit or delete a tax rate or group

  1. Open Tax rates from your Sales workspace settings.
  2. Next to the tax rate or group, click on the Actions button and select Edit or Delete.

Apply tax to individual services

  1. From the main menu, go to Catalog, then select Service menu from the left menu panel.
  2. Click on a service from the service menu to update.
  3. In the Edit service view, select Settings from the left menu panel.
  4. Under Advanced settings, select Edit next to Sales tax.
  5. In the pop-up, choose the service tax rate for each location. Select the Apply button to save.
  6. Click on the Save button in the top right to update the service.
