In this guide, you'll learn how to manually add client referrals in client profiles, so you always know who's bringing new clients to your business.

How client referrals work

  1. Client referrals let you track which existing clients are bringing new clients to your business.
  2. Referral information appears in the Client insights report under the Referred by column.
  3. You can add, edit, or remove referral information from any client profile.

Add referrals to client profiles manually

  1. From the main menu on the left of your screen, go to Clients.
  2. Select Clients list from the left menu panel.
  3. Click on a client's profile to view their profile details.
  4. In the client view, click on Actions and select Edit client details.
  5. In the Edit client view, scroll down to Additional info.
  6. Under Referred by, click Add to choose the existing client who referred this new client to your business.
  7. In the pop-up, use the search bar to find and select the referring client from your client list.
  8. Click on the Save button to update the client's profile details.
