Manage waitlist entries
Manage your waitlist entries to add clients, update preferences, remove entries, and book available time slots.
How the waitlist works
- The waitlist lets clients request to be notified when a preferred appointment slot becomes available. When a cancellation occurs, you can quickly book the next waiting client into that slot, helping you stay fully booked and reduce revenue loss from cancellations.
View your waitlist
- From the main menu, go to Calendar.
- Click the Waitlist icon or tab in the calendar view.
- You'll see a list of clients waiting, along with their preferred services, staff, and times.
Add a client to the waitlist
- From Calendar, open the Waitlist panel.
- Click Add to waitlist.
- Search for or select a client.
- Select the service, preferred staff member, and preferred date/time range.
- Click Save to add the client to the waitlist.
Clients can also add themselves to the waitlist through your online booking page if you have the waitlist enabled in your settings.
Book an appointment from the waitlist
- From the Waitlist panel, find the client you want to book.
- Click Book next to their entry.
- Select the available time slot.
- Confirm the appointment details and click Save.
- The client will automatically be removed from the waitlist once booked.
Remove a waitlist entry
- From the Waitlist panel, find the entry you want to remove.
- Click the Delete icon or select Remove from waitlist.
- Confirm the removal.
