Manage resource availability
Set up and manage availability for your business resources like rooms and equipment to ensure they are correctly reflected in your booking calendar.
How resource availability works
- Resources are physical assets in your business, such as treatment rooms, chairs, or equipment. Resource availability determines when these assets can be used for appointments, preventing double-booking and ensuring smooth operations.
Set resource available hours
- From the main menu, go to Settings.
- Select Resources and click on the resource you want to configure.
- Under Availability, set the days and hours this resource is available.
- Match the resource hours to your business hours, or set a custom schedule if the resource has limited availability.
- Click Save.
Block time for resources
- From your Calendar, switch to the Resources view.
- Click Add and select Blocked time.
- Select the resource and the time slot you want to block.
- Add a reason and set a frequency if needed.
- Click Save.
Blocking time for a resource prevents it from being allocated to appointments during that period, even if it is within its normal available hours.
