Automated client reminders

Set up automatic reminders to reduce no-shows and keep clients engaged. Reminders are sent on a schedule you choose, with no manual effort needed.

Enable automated reminders

  1. Go to MarketingAutomation.
  2. Select Appointment reminders.
  3. Toggle Send automatic reminders on.

Configure timing and channels

  1. Choose when reminders are sent — typically 24 hours before, with a second reminder 2 hours before.
  2. Select the channel — email, SMS, or both.
  3. Customize the message template to match your brand voice.
  4. Click Save.
A 24-hour reminder reduces no-shows by ~30%. Adding a 2-hour SMS reminder typically reduces them by another 10%.

Types of automated reminders

  1. Booking confirmations: sent right after booking.
  2. Appointment reminders: sent before the appointment.
  3. Win-back messages: sent if a client hasn't booked in 60+ days.
  4. Birthday messages: sent on a client's birthday with a special offer.
  5. Review requests: sent after the appointment.
